What this means for your business
AI assistants can open your website, but they struggle to understand it or take action on it. When customers ask an AI for a recommendation, they may be sent to a competitor.

Your report
In plain words
What this score means for your business, written for the owner rather than the web developer. The technical detail behind every sentence is further down.
Your website scored 50 out of 100. AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can reach your site, but they struggle to make sense of it or to do anything once they arrive. In practice, when a customer asks an assistant for a recommendation, a competitor with clearer pages is more likely to be named. The good news is that most of what holds you back is straightforward to fix. That places you ahead of 42% of the 5,347 websites we have checked. Among Education websites you rank #88 of 163.
Today, AI assistants can open your website. They can partly understand what you offer, with gaps that cost you recommendations. They cannot find your profiles and listings on your site, read who you are from your pages, and contact or book you. The step to focus on first is “Can AI read who you are from your pages?”. Your pages do not tell AI assistants who you are in a form they read directly, so they have to guess from the prose or rely on what they know from elsewhere.
Across the 26 checks we ran, we found 16 things to improve, spread over 5 of the five steps. 4 of them disappear when you add a Dashform funnel: a form and booking path that AI assistants can complete on a customer's behalf. That takes about five minutes and needs no developer. The remaining 12 need a web developer. The fix list at the end of this report gives them exact instructions, so a short session should cover most of it. None of this requires rebuilding your website.

The five steps, one by one
A customer asks an AI assistant for a recommendation. Here is what happens at each step when that assistant reaches your website.
Can AI find your profiles and listings on your site?
NoYour site does not point AI assistants to your profiles or listings and shows few signs of being active, so what they know about you elsewhere stays disconnected from it.
This step reads what your site tells an assistant about the rest of your presence: links to your social profiles and directory listings, a business profile written for machines, contact details, and signs that the site is active and looked after. It does not test whether assistants already know you from reviews and listings elsewhere; many businesses are found without any of this.
3 things to improve
- Your business record does not point to your official profiles elsewhere, so assistants cannot be sure the accounts they find are yours. Listing them in the record removes the doubt.
- We found no link between your site and a Google Business Profile, which assistants use to confirm where you are, when you open, and what customers say. Claiming the free listing and linking it is worthwhile for any local business.
- Your pages carry no dates, so assistants cannot tell whether your information is current or years old. They prefer businesses they can see are active. Adding publication and update dates to your business record fixes this.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI read who you are from your pages?
NoYour pages do not tell AI assistants who you are in a form they read directly, so they have to guess from the prose or rely on what they know from elsewhere.
This step reads the details your site publishes for machines: your name, what you do, where you are, how to reach you, who stands behind the site, and the reviews and references that back it up. Without them, an assistant has to guess who you are from the prose or rely on what it knows from elsewhere.
4 things to improve
- Your page carries no business details written for machines. Assistants have to guess your name, what you do, and where you are from your text, and they often guess wrong or not at all. A short block of structured data fixes this.
- Your pages do not say who wrote or publishes them, so assistants cannot attribute your content to a real business. Naming your business as the publisher in your structured data fixes this.
- Your reviews and ratings are not written in a form machines read, so assistants reading your site cannot quote them. Adding your rating to your business record lets them.
And one more in the full details.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI open your website?
YesYour website opens reliably for AI assistants.
An AI assistant has to be able to open your pages before anything else counts. Blocked crawlers, security challenges, slow responses, or broken links stop it before it reads a word, and it simply moves on to the next business.
2 things to improve
- A cookie notice covers your page until a visitor agrees. Assistants cannot click it, so anything behind it may go unread. Showing the notice without hiding the content underneath solves this.
- Your page takes longer to respond than assistants like to wait. They give up after a few seconds and move on. Your hosting provider or developer can usually speed this up with caching or a faster plan.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI contact or book you?
NoAI assistants have no way to contact or book you today, so a recommendation cannot turn into a booking.
In the final step the assistant tries to act for the customer: book a time, send an enquiry, or start a purchase. It needs a form, a booking path, or a connection it can use. Without one, even a glowing recommendation ends with the customer on their own.
5 things to improve
- Your site has no guide written for AI assistants, so they have to work out what you offer by reading everything. A short llms.txt file lists your services and key pages in one place, and takes an afternoon at most.
- Assistants can read about you, but they have no way to work with you directly, for example to check availability or make a booking on a customer's behalf. Dashform provides this connection when you add a funnel; no developer needed.
- Your page does not tell assistants what a customer can do here: book, reserve, order, or enquire. They can describe you but not act. Declaring the action in your business record fixes this, and Dashform does it for you when you add a funnel.
And 2 more in the full details.
Dashform can take care of this for you. No developer needed.
Can AI understand what you offer?
PartlyAI assistants can read most of your website, but some pages are unclear to them.
Once inside, the assistant reads your pages much like a person skimming them. Clear headings, real text, described images, and properly labelled buttons help it describe you accurately to the customer.
2 things to improve
- Many of your images carry no written description, so assistants, and people who cannot see them, have no idea what they show. If your work is in the pictures, it is invisible. Adding a sentence to each image fixes this.
- Your page answers common questions, but not in a form machines recognise. Assistants like to lift such answers directly; marking the section as questions and answers lets them.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
