What this means for your business

Your report
In plain words
What this score means for your business, written for the owner rather than the web developer. The technical detail behind every sentence is further down.
Your website scored 53 out of 100. AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can reach your site, but they struggle to make sense of it or to do anything once they arrive. In practice, when a customer asks an assistant for a recommendation, a competitor with clearer pages is more likely to be named. The good news is that most of what holds you back is straightforward to fix. That places you ahead of 48% of the 5 353 websites we have checked.
They can partly read who you are from your pages, open your website, contact or book you et understand what you offer, with gaps that cost you recommendations. They cannot find your profiles and listings on your site. The step to focus on first is “Can AI find your profiles and listings on your site?”. Your site does not point AI assistants to your profiles or listings and shows few signs of being active, so what they know about you elsewhere stays disconnected from it.
Across the 31 checks we ran, we found 26 things to improve, spread over 5 of the five steps. One of them disappears when you add a Dashform funnel: a form and booking path that AI assistants can complete on a customer's behalf. That takes about five minutes and needs no developer. The remaining 25 need a web developer. The fix list at the end of this report gives them exact instructions, so a short session should cover most of it. None of this requires rebuilding your website.

The five steps, one by one
A customer asks an AI assistant for a recommendation. Here is what happens at each step when that assistant reaches your website.
Can AI find your profiles and listings on your site?
NonYour site does not point AI assistants to your profiles or listings and shows few signs of being active, so what they know about you elsewhere stays disconnected from it.
This step reads what your site tells an assistant about the rest of your presence: links to your social profiles and directory listings, a business profile written for machines, contact details, and signs that the site is active and looked after. It does not test whether assistants already know you from reviews and listings elsewhere; many businesses are found without any of this.
6 things to improve
- Your page links to none of your social profiles, so assistants cannot cross-check that you are the same business they see elsewhere. Linking your profiles in the footer is enough.
- Your business record does not point to your official profiles elsewhere, so assistants cannot be sure the accounts they find are yours. Listing them in the record removes the doubt.
- We found no link between your site and a Google Business Profile, which assistants use to confirm where you are, when you open, and what customers say. Claiming the free listing and linking it is worthwhile for any local business.
And 3 more in the full details.

Can AI read who you are from your pages?
PartlyYour pages tell AI assistants part of who you are, but some details are missing or unstructured, so they may describe you incompletely.
This step reads the details your site publishes for machines: your name, what you do, where you are, how to reach you, who stands behind the site, and the reviews and references that back it up. Without them, an assistant has to guess who you are from the prose or rely on what it knows from elsewhere.
6 things to improve
- Your page carries business details for machines, but not in a form that says “this is a business”. Assistants cannot tell whether they are reading a company, an article, or a product. Labelling the record as your kind of business fixes this.
- Your business record for machines is incomplete. Assistants learn only a few facts about you and have to guess the rest, which makes them cautious about recommending you. Adding your address, hours, contact details, and services makes the record useful.
- Your business record for machines is missing contact details or an address, so an assistant cannot pass them on to a customer. Adding them to the record takes minutes and lets assistants quote them exactly.
And 3 more in the full details.

Can AI open your website?
PartlyYour website opens for AI assistants, but something slows them down or partly blocks them.
An AI assistant has to be able to open your pages before anything else counts. Blocked crawlers, security challenges, slow responses, or broken links stop it before it reads a word, and it simply moves on to the next business.
8 things to improve
- A security check stops automated visitors before they see your page, and it stops AI assistants too. Customers asking those assistants for a recommendation hear nothing from your own pages. Your security provider can allow trusted assistants through.
- When an AI assistant identifies itself at your front door, your site turns it away. Customers using that assistant cannot hear about you from your own website. Your security or hosting provider can allow it through.
- When someone asks for a page you do not have, your site says “found” instead of “not found”. Assistants cannot tell real pages from wrong guesses and may index empty ones. Your developer can correct the reply in minutes.
And 5 more in the full details.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI contact or book you?
PartlyAI assistants can reach you in a limited way. A proper form or booking path would turn recommendations into bookings.
In the final step the assistant tries to act for the customer: book a time, send an enquiry, or start a purchase. It needs a form, a booking path, or a connection it can use. Without one, even a glowing recommendation ends with the customer on their own.
3 things to improve
- Your site has no guide written for AI assistants, so they have to work out what you offer by reading everything. A short llms.txt file lists your services and key pages in one place, and takes an afternoon at most.
- Assistants have no list of your pages, so they have to guess their addresses and may miss important ones. Most website platforms can generate a sitemap automatically.
- Assistants have no form they can fill in to reach you. A customer who asks one to send an enquiry is left to do it themselves, and many never do. Dashform adds a form assistants can complete when you add a funnel; no developer needed.
Dashform can take care of this for you. No developer needed.
Can AI understand what you offer?
PartlyAI assistants can read most of your website, but some pages are unclear to them.
Once inside, the assistant reads your pages much like a person skimming them. Clear headings, real text, described images, and properly labelled buttons help it describe you accurately to the customer.
3 things to improve
- Your page does not label its parts, so a machine cannot tell the menu from the main content or the footer. Assistants may treat navigation as content or miss the important part. Your developer can add the labels without changing how the page looks.
- Many of your images carry no written description, so assistants, and people who cannot see them, have no idea what they show. If your work is in the pictures, it is invisible. Adding a sentence to each image fixes this.
- Some things on your page look clickable but are not real links or buttons, so an assistant cannot operate them. It may miss your booking button entirely. Your developer can rebuild them as real controls without changing the look.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
