Your report
In plain words
What this score means for your business, written for the owner rather than the web developer. The technical detail behind every sentence is further down.
Your website scored 42 out of 100. Today, AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity are mostly locked out: they cannot open your pages, cannot confirm who you are, or cannot understand what you offer. When a customer asks an assistant for a recommendation, your business is unlikely to come up at all. This report shows exactly where the doors are closed and how to open them. That places you ahead of 18% of the 5 315 websites we have checked.
Today, AI assistants can open your website. They can partly understand what you offer, with gaps that cost you recommendations. They cannot find your business, tell who you are et contact or book you. The step to focus on first is “Can AI tell who you are?”. AI assistants cannot verify your business from your website, so they hesitate to recommend it.
Across the 24 checks we ran, we found 20 things to improve, spread over 5 of the five steps. 5 of them disappear when you add a Dashform funnel: a form and booking path that AI assistants can complete on a customer's behalf. That takes about five minutes and needs no developer. The remaining 15 need a web developer. The fix list at the end of this report gives them exact instructions, so a short session should cover most of it. None of this requires rebuilding your website.

- How each individual check came out. Urgent items shut assistants out; the rest cost you clarity or trust.

The five steps, one by one
A customer asks an AI assistant for a recommendation. Here is what happens at each step when that assistant reaches your website.
Can AI find your business?
NonAI assistants struggle to find your business or confirm it is active, so you rarely come up in their recommendations.
Before an AI assistant can recommend you, it has to find you. It looks at your social profiles, business listings, and whether your site shows signs of being active and looked after, much like a cautious customer would.
4 things to improve
- Your business record does not point to your official profiles elsewhere, so assistants cannot be sure the accounts they find are yours. Listing them in the record removes the doubt.
- We found no link between your site and a Google Business Profile, which assistants use to confirm where you are, when you open, and what customers say. Claiming the free listing and linking it is worthwhile for any local business.
- An assistant reading your page cannot find a phone number, email address, or street address to pass on to a customer. Even a glowing recommendation ends there. Publishing your contact details plainly on the page fixes this.
And one more in the full details.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI tell who you are?
NonAI assistants cannot verify your business from your website, so they hesitate to recommend it.
AI assistants only recommend businesses they can verify. They read the details your site publishes for machines: your name, what you do, where you are, and how to reach you. Missing or vague details make them hesitate.
4 things to improve
- Your page carries no business details written for machines. Assistants have to guess your name, what you do, and where you are from your text, and they often guess wrong or not at all. A short block of structured data fixes this.
- Your pages do not say who wrote or publishes them, so assistants cannot attribute your content to a real business. Naming your business as the publisher in your structured data fixes this.
- Your reviews and ratings are not written in a form machines read, so assistants cannot mention them when they recommend you. Adding your rating to your business record lets them.
And one more in the full details.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI open your website?
OuiYour website opens reliably for AI assistants.
An AI assistant has to be able to open your pages before anything else counts. Blocked crawlers, security challenges, slow responses, or broken links stop it before it reads a word, and it simply moves on to the next business.
3 things to improve
- A security check stops automated visitors before they see your page, and it stops AI assistants too. Customers asking those assistants for a recommendation will not hear about you. Your security provider can allow trusted assistants through.
- Your server sends pages at full size instead of shrinking them first, so they arrive more slowly than they need to. Most hosting providers can switch compression on in a setting.
- Your server does not tell visitors how long they may keep a copy of your page, so every repeat visit downloads it again. This slows assistants that check back. A one-line setting fixes it.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
Can AI contact or book you?
NonAI assistants have no way to contact or book you today, so a recommendation cannot turn into a booking.
In the final step the assistant tries to act for the customer: book a time, send an enquiry, or start a purchase. It needs a form, a booking path, or a connection it can use. Without one, even a glowing recommendation ends with the customer on their own.
6 things to improve
- Your site has no guide written for AI assistants, so they have to work out what you offer by reading everything. A short llms.txt file lists your services and key pages in one place, and takes an afternoon at most.
- Assistants can read about you, but they have no way to work with you directly, for example to check availability or make a booking on a customer's behalf. Dashform provides this connection when you add a funnel; no developer needed.
- Your page does not tell assistants what a customer can do here: book, reserve, order, or enquire. They can describe you but not act. Declaring the action in your business record fixes this, and Dashform does it for you when you add a funnel.
And 3 more in the full details.
Dashform can take care of this for you. No developer needed.
Can AI understand what you offer?
PartlyAI assistants can read most of your website, but some pages are unclear to them.
Once inside, the assistant reads your pages much like a person skimming them. Clear headings, real text, described images, and properly labelled buttons help it describe you accurately to the customer.
3 things to improve
- Your page does not label its parts, so a machine cannot tell the menu from the main content or the footer. Assistants may treat navigation as content or miss the important part. Your developer can add the labels without changing how the page looks.
- Many of your images carry no written description, so assistants, and people who cannot see them, have no idea what they show. If your work is in the pictures, it is invisible. Adding a sentence to each image fixes this.
- Your headings jump levels, which makes the outline of the page harder for a machine to follow. It is a minor issue and a quick tidy-up for your developer.
Your web developer can handle this with the fix list from this report.
